Metal roofing is also available in the form of shingles. Apply a flashing piece then a shingle then flashing as you would apply step flashing for a chimney. Mark 12 inches up on the roof for the first course of shingles then mark every 5 inches all the way up the roof to set your reveal. The silicone will spread and adhere creating a seal.
